Located by the church of San Jorge, in the pedestrian precinct between the Casa Torre [“Tower House”] and the Town Hall, La Capi Gourmet is a gastro-bar decorated in a vintage ambience with photos recalling times gone by and meals of yesteryear. It also has a magnificent outdoor terrace.
Stand-out dishes include its gourmet pintxos, some of which have won awards, top-quality Iberian cured meats, delicatessen style dishes and portions to share, all washed down with good red wine from La Rioja and Viñas del Duero and whites including Verdejo and txakolí.
It won the “best pintxo in Santurtzi” contest in 2017 and 2019.
It has a Gourmet area, where you can buy typical gastronomic products of our region: txakoli, cheeses and other products.
